Walk description:

The Tissington Trail is a scenic 13 mile walking track that runs from Ashbourne to Parsley Hay.

This walk suggestion focuses on a walk from Parsley Hay (SK17 ODG) to Money Stones.

Both locations have a car park near to the start of the trail.

Additional notes:

There is parking and tea facilities at both Parsley Hay and Money Stones.

Start at the southern end (Money Stones) and you find the cafe in the old signal box and a quieter car park with a good disabled toilet. Free parking for blue badge holders and designated spaces.

Combine this with the High Peak Trail part 1 (starting at Parsley Hay) and it makes for a nice Sunday trip to the pub (4 miles there!)

Lovely Walk!

This was a lovely walk on an ideal path of fine gravel. The views were stunning and there was plenty of
wildlife and animals to look at. We used an all terrain buggy but a normal pushchair would have been fine too!
Parsley Hay was a great place to start the walk as we celebrated the end of the walk with much needed drinks
and Ice-Cream. There were plenty of benches for enjoying the views and having a bite to eat. The facilities
here were very clean and I spotted a disabled toilet. Well worth doing, a real holiday highlight.
